Item arrived as advertised and well packaged. I should have orders a longer one though, but that was my fault for not running a tape measure properly.... :)
One of the welding spots looks like it was stopped short from the end? I think it’s okay.

PRODUCT WORKS PERFECTLY
Our new F-150 was a little taller than our old trailer pull vehicle and the lowest setting on our Fastway E2 was a little too high. This was a perfect replacement for the original E2 piece but with extra drop, and let me make the tongue level again. It is really solid and heavy!
I received great help from the salesperson on the phone and was able to order the right length part. Paid for next day shipping but it didn’t ship in time. They called and notified me immediately and refunded the accelerated shipping fee. Product was the right choice
I had changed trucks an needed a large drop to keep the Airstream level. This worked perfect.

Continues to work perfect, as designed.
High quality with good welds. Be aware it is heavy. Perfect height for setting up my Equalizer hitch on my 2017 Ram 1500 4X2. Needed a 5" drop for my enclosed trailer with a 19" hitch height. Can't go wrong with Equalizer products
The shank is what I ordered and it will do the job I wanted it for. The shank came in very quick after e trailer received it from the manufacturer which it took awhile but etrailer did not pressure me to get something I didn't want.I will say etrailer Sent the shank out the same day they receive it.7
I did not realize that I would need a longer shank when we switched tow vehicles, but the Nissan Armada receiver is actually higher than my GMC 2500HD. So much so that the 3" drop I was using didn't work. Fortunately eTrailer had this in stock and got it too me in 2 days (I had it expedited). It looks and works exactly like the Equalizer shank I had originally, but with a longer drop.
Bought a new truck going from a Colorado to a Titan XD. Needless to say there was a significant change in hitch height. This shank was exactly what I needed. The shank arrived in time for our maiden trip. Thanks for the quick turnaround on my order.
I have a 06 Dodge 2500 with 35" tires and this was what I needed to get my trailer towing level. Very well made and very heavy when the ball mount is attached
I ordered the equal-i-zer weight dist. shank from E-Trailer . It was a fair price and showed up at my door less than a week after it was ordered . It is exactly what I needed to safely tow our trailer .
Works perfect for my truck with a 4 inch differential drop lift kit and 35 inch tires.

Appears very heavy duty, solid metal. Very fast on shipment and notifications. Fit well for equalizer hitch.
We haven’t had the need to raise the ball, but we were able to get the drop we needed for out 1975 Airstream.

Works as I needed to drop my Reese wd hitch. This thing is solid steel and is pretty heavy didn't expect to be this soli. Seems to be a good product that's built right here in the US .

I sent the photos you included to my contact at Equal-i-zer. He said the shank has weld pockets that allow the weld to be mostly below the surface, so what is visible on the outside is not the only weld holding the shank together. He confirmed with his Quality Engineer that the welds are fine and the shank is safe to use.
