We have the perfect weight distribution system for you, but in order to ensure you get the correctly rated system, you will need to know your total tongue weight (TTW), which is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to go trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your 2004 Toyota Sequoia. The ideal system would be one in which your TTW falls somewhere in the middle of the weight distribution system's tongue weight capacity.

For your Gulfstream 23 Vista Cruiser with a fully loaded weight of about 5,500 lbs, we can estimate a tongue weight around 700 lbs; any additional weight behind the rear axle will be added to get your total tongue weight.

Based on these numbers your TTW will fall somewhere in the 700 lb to 800 lb range; and for that I recommend the Equal-i-zer # EQ37101ET because this system uses 4 points of sway control via friction in the spring bars to ensure you never have to worry about your trailer swaying. It also uses clamp-on brackets so you won't have to drill along your trailer frame, and allows you to back up with the system on. The system has a total tongue weight range of 600 lbs to 1,000 lbs.

Since you have a lifted Sequoia you will need a shank with a more drop than usual, the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 12" Long - 13" Rise, 9" Drop # EQ90-02-4400 or Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 12" Long - 10" Rise, 6" Drop # EQ90-02-4300.

Our customers who have used this system regard it very highly, with well over 400 reviews it has averaged nearly 5 out of 5 stars, as you can see on the product page. This system comes with everything you need for installation though it is recommended you use thin-walled socket # EQ70-00-4800 to help install the hitch ball.

I have added links to a number of video reviews for you to check out as well.
