Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the replacement quick disconnect RV outdoor shower faucet for the Empire Faucets outdoor shower. This one is white in color. Now this part will replace the quick disconnect faucet that's on your Empire Faucets outdoor shower and kitchen. This is designed as a replacement for the model number EM74JR. That part number comes with this faucet and the flex spout that installs in the quick connect.
This part here that we're showing is just the faucet itself. Now this is a dual handle design. You can see it has the nice white knobs on it, and it is a quarter-turn cartridge stem which enables the faucet to turn on and off with just a quarter of a turn. And the very center portion here you can see is the stainless steel quick connect valve that'll accept compatible hoses. Now the hoses it accepts is part number EM44FR or EM64FR, both of those part numbers we do sell separately on our website.
I pulled one of them just to show you what it looks like and how it will connect, but basically you see there's a quick connect on this end, and then the water comes out the spout right here. So to connect it all you have to do, just push it in just like that and it connects. They do use factory-designed seals in here to help keep it from leaking, and it'll also prevent backflow contamination of your clean water supply. To remove it you just slide that quick connect down and it releases it just like that. Again, to show you to install it, push down, you're ready to go.
You can put the flex out in whatever position you need. And again, to remove it, just slide down, push down on it and it releases it, very simple. As we mentioned, this is in a white color. You can see it has a two hole installation. The inlet shanks right here use the standard male NPSM connections.
It does come with everything shown here, it comes with the mounting plate. It'll slide on there when you go to install it. And then the two mounting nuts that are used to go on there after you get your connections made and tighten it down. Now that does require a tile and tub caulk, which is not included, you would have to supply that for installation. This part is made in the USA. And the last thing I want to do is just give you the measurements for distance between the inlet shanks, from the center of this one to the center of that one. You can see it's right at four inches. Easy bolt in replacement of old faucet. Faucet valves and quick dissconnect work so much better than old faucet. I wish I bought this several years earlier. I replaced the outside shower faucet on a 2000 Roadtrek Versatile.
This was easy to install. we love the ability to add a longer hose for washing our dogs after a beach visit. It is great to be able to wash them farther away from the trailer rather than right up against the trailer.
Perfect replacement for outdoor kitchen faucet. Fair price, good quality, and decent shipping times.

This is exactly what I wanted. I was impressed with the price, which a huge camping store told me would be considerably more. I was also impressed that it arrived three days before expected. I will definitely use etrailer again.

This product is an upgrade compared to the OEM unit. It works great! While I was changing the units out, I also upgraded ALL of my hose fittings to quick-disconnect style! As I am a senior citizen, this makes connecting all hoses much easier on my hands! Enjoy!
