Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix Faucets 4-Inch Dual Handle RV Shower Valve. This unit is going to replace a shower valve for your Phoenix Faucets exterior RV shower box. It's going to feature the dual white knobs that gives the unit a really nice look. It's got the vacuum breaker right here. This is the outlet for attaching the hand held shower. Hand held shower is not included, so that will need to be provided separately if you don't already have one.

The unit is also designed to prevent water back flow, which is going to help prevent contamination of your fresh water supply. It's made from a very strong and durable plastic construction that's going to be white in color. The mounting area is going require two holes for your installation. These holes are going to need to be created for the connectors right here for the hot and cold water lines. These are going to be separated on center by 4 inches. They're going to give us a length measurement of about an inch and a half.

The outer diameter of each one of these connectors is about 13/16 of an inch, and they are threaded. Inner diameter of each one of these connectors is about a 1/2 of an inch. The connection point right here for the shower hose, that's going to have an outer diameter of 13/16 of an inch. You can also see the back here, it has the metal washer as well as the metal nut. Those are designed for the installation process. It's also going to come with that plastic backing plate. Pretty simple installation.

The unit does come with detailed installation instructions. You will need two mounting holes for your installation. This diagram just does a really good job at laying out how it installs. Your holes are going to need a diameter of 1 inch. They need to be separated on center by 4 inches.

It goes through the installation process. You can see how they put it through the holes and use the backing plate and how they make their connections with their hot and cold water lines. On this side, it's going to have some really helpful tips. It's going to have some operating instructions, cleaning tips, helpful hints, as well as some cautionary items to be aware of. Then, on the back side, it does include a detailed parts list. Few measurements to go over with you real quick. The overall length of the unit measuring edge to edge. This is going to give us a measurement of pretty close to 6 1/4 inches. Measuring just the base going this direction is about 2 1/8.
