Dual-handle, plastic RV shower valve lets you add a handheld shower set (sold separately) to complete your shower setup. It also has a vacuum breaker that prevents contaminated water from flowing backward into your clean water supply.

The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
This valve lets you upgrade the shower valve in your RV or camper. Using the standard NPSM inlet shanks, slide the new valve and deck plate in place through the mounting holes. Then hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the backside of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines. The use of tub and tile caulk (not included) is required.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Phoenix faucets 4" dual handle RV shower valve. This unit adds or replaces the shower valve in your RV shower. It's going to feature the dual smoked acrylic knobs. It gives the unit a really nice look. Those are very easy to operate. They've got a nice easy grip design on them.
Little finger indentions that go around the entire circumference of the knob. Down here we're going to have the vacuum breaker outlet for attaching the hand-held shower. That item is sold separately. Your hand-held shower is sold separately but that vacuum breaker is included. The unit's also designed to prevent water backflow, which is going to help prevent contamination of your fresh-water supply. The unit's made from a durable plastic construction and the base of the unit is white in color.
Here at the back you can see that it's got the connection points for the hot and cold water lines. It's going to have the mounting nuts as well as the vacuum plate. The connectors are going to be separated on center. Looks to be right on 4". The connectors are going to give us a length measurement of about 2" long. They're going to give us an outer diameter of 13/16" with an inner diameter of around 1/2".
The connection point right here for the hose, that's going to be 13/16" outer diameter. That is threaded. Overall dimensions starting with the height of the unit just measuring the base, that's about 2-1/8". Measuring edge to edge it's about 6-1/4". From the back of the base to the outermost point of the hand knob is going to be about 3". Pretty simple installation.
You will need a couple holes in order for these connectors pass through at the mounting surface. It does come with the mounting nuts, these will thread on to the backside of the mounting surface and provide that nice tight connection. The unit does come with detailed installation instructions. It's going to walk you through that process step by step. It's going to outline the size of the holes that need to be cut out, 1" diameter. It's going to also indicate the height that this unit needs to be installed above the flooring or the line. It's 45 to 48" above the floor line. It's going to show you how to make your water line connections. On this side it's going to have some trouble-shooting. It's also going to have operating instructions, cleaning tips, helpful hints, and some cautions on there as well. Then it's also going to indicate a parts list of everything that it comes with in case you ever need to replace anything, then you have that handy in those instructions. It works GREAT!
Really the faucet was installed last May. The RV has not had water to it. So have never tested the faucet. It was part of on going refurbishing of a 22 year old Class B+ RV that I bought a year ago. Also part of this work we've ordered and installed from e-trailer your Dometic 310 toilet, a MaxAir Fan, & other items all installed but some untested. The fan works great. The toilet seems to as we made sure the black and grey tanks were cleaned out well by pouring water down the drains and toilet. We will repeat this spring when it comes out of winter storage. The fresh water tank was removed to repair water damage below it and in the wall it blocked both. We also had to sanitize the tank due to mold entering it where previous owners allowed the air intake hose to flap about un-attached causing the leaks and water damage to the floor. We know the Ford Engine is in decent condition but due to so much unexpected work we are behind a good year getting Miss Mini Mo on the road and fully activated. She's come a long ways & with your help with parts like this. Which btw was almost identical to the one removed. We'll treat her with far more respect than the previous owners have. Thanks e-trailer no doubt we'll be back for more STUFF once we bring her out of winter storage.
I replaced the faucet in my 2014 Skyline SkyCat with this faucet. Two great features here: 1) The best feature is the attachment point for the shower hose. This one is on top of the faucet instead of underneath it. When you shut off the water it all drains down and out of the hose, making winterization a breeze. I don't have to detach the hose to drain it. 2) Since the shower hose attaches at the top, it will effectively be a little bit longer which is nice for taller people.
Lauren (customer service agent) was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to my questions to include my special request for expedited shipping (something not specifically listed on the web site). In addition, the details of the product were great; such that the specifications listed ensured that the product would be a applicable replacement for the defective item in our RV (unlike another, similar product that I ordered from an alternate source that didn't fit and will now have to be returned). Because etrailer orders are late and I’m not getting anything else there. They should ship their stuff with another shipper they will ship with UPS and that sucks.
