Hello, everybody. This is jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement Manual Override Crank for the Bulldog Powered-Drive Trailer Jacks. Now this part here will replace the emergency manual override crank that was originally included with your Bulldog Powered-Drive Trailer Jack. Basically, this crank would be used in emergency to manually crank the jack up or down if the power is lost to the jack. This one is designed to fit the Bulldog Powered-Drive Trailer Jacks that have a 3,500 pound capacity.
They go by part number BD500187, and the BD500188. They also work on the Bulldog Powered-Drive Jacks with a 4,000 pound capacity, and those part numbers are BD5000199, and the BD500200. All of those jacks we do sell separately on our website. Now the length on this handle, if we would measure from here to here, this is gonna be right at eight and a half inches. But again, this would attach to the jack, and then you would crank it to manually lift or lower the jack.

It worked perfectly. I was concerned about the fit but turns out the crank is all that worked. Motor freezes up on my trailer jack that I’ve only used three times since I bought it last July and will not work. I more Bull Dog products for me.
I called etrailer because I was having trouble identifying what I need. Barb was so helpful! She helped me find the right part and, when finding it was on back order, she found the one left in the warehouse and got it to me quickly. Five star service = customer for life.
Bought this for a Military Trailer M101A2 jack handle and it works perfectly. It will even fit in the holder if you spread the tabs a little. If you ad the Handle kit #HDKB-BLK you can have a roller handle like the original.
Works as a perfect substitute for my Military M101A2 trailer. Do not need to modify it at all to turn the crank.
Works just fine for the trailer my military surplus generator came on.
Good example of an item you need when you have a problem with the tongue jack and manufacturer makes sure you pay for it! $32.95 for this is highway robbery. Guess where it is made folks. YOU GOT IT-CHINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate to hear that the crank is not working for you. Which jack model do you have? I know that this one works with BD500187, BD500188, BD500199, and BD500200.
