pulled out the old part, reattached the fitting on the new part, added a bead of silicone and 10 screws and good to go, 15-20 minutes tops and I was done and repressurized.1617175

I used this to replace a D&W Spray-Away Exterior Hose System. The prior unit worked fine, I simply needed the room on the inside of the trailer for battery storage. The new unit takes up far less space and I really never used the hose anyhow.

The new unit doesn't lend itself to being insulated inside the door. The old unit had more room for insulation inside the door. The hot/cold knobs are in the way.

For what it is, it's a good unit.880703

Easy to get install and worked good. Started dripping after a months use. But the cartridges are removable and I was able to install new washers. Worked OK through the rest of the season. Don't over tighten the taps when turning off, everything inside is plastic. Also I would suggest a set of shutoffs on the inlet hookups so it can be isolated for servicing. Be careful of the inlet check valves, they can fall out in pieces. 451562
