Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this Dutton-Lainson Wiring Harness for DC StrongArm Electric Wenches. This is going to allow you to connect an electric winch to your vehicle's battery. It includes the 25' long positive battery wire with an 80 amp circuit breaker and an 8' long ground wire. Now, I do happen to have a winch here just to show you how easy this is to connect, if you're not already familiar with it. And what this is is the StrongArm Electric Wench from Dutton-Lainson with the remote. Obviously, I don't have the remote connected for our demonstration purposes here, but we have our port right here and so this is just going to be very simple to plug that in.
You'll hear that click and that lets you know that it's in there securely, and then comes out just as easily. So again, it's going to be very easy to hook this up to your winch. And speaking of wenches that this is compatible with, this is going to work with the 12 volt DC StrongArm Electric Wench models that you see there on your screen before you. This wire harness is easy to install and makes it convenient for plugging your winch.
I was surprised at the promptness of delivery, as well as the ease of installation. I recently bought a shopmade car carrier trailer that has an old winch aboard and was pleased with the ease of adaptation to the old hook-up. Thanks again.
