Wiring Harness to Install SuperWinch Winch 2 Go on a Boat

Question:

I have a SuperWinch Winch2go for my Jet Boat. I need a longer power cord to be able to use the winch on either the bow or the stern as circumstances demand. 1. Will the Dutton-Lainson Wiring Harness TW9000 fit this winch? 2. The description says the ground wire is only 8 ft. But I would need a double wire Pos plus ground all the way from the battery to the quick disconnect in order for this to work for me. Is it possible to obtain such a harness or build one with appropriate parts? The plan would be to have the harness attached and coiled next to the battery for easy access when needed.

Yes, the Dutton-Lainson Wiring Harness # DL24151 will work with your SuperWinch Winch 2 Go but as you pointed out in your second question it isn't the best solution for you.

A better harness is the Bulldog Wiring Kit # BDW20207 that has a ground and power cable that are both 24 feet long.
