Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to replace this wheel on your Dutton-Lainson Pull Pin Easy Swivel Trailer Jacks. This is going to be a direct replacement for the wheel that comes on your jack. So if for whatever reason it becomes damaged, you can replace it and you don't have to worry about replacing the whole jack. It comes with all the parts you need from the wheel to the hardware and the sleeve that goes in the middle of the wheel here. And the installation process is very straightforward.

We've got ours raised up right now with the trailer sitting on a jack stand. You can hook up to your vehicle too. Anything to just let you raise this up and get that wheel off the ground. And I find it a little bit easier to just actually flip this upside down and bring this up to us. We can take our 3/4 or 19 millimeter wrench and socket and start to get this undone.

Now if your old one is damaged and maybe already off, you don't have to worry about this step. But if you need to remove it, this is how you do it. And it's gonna be the same process to put the new one on. The old hardware can get taken out and we can set that aside because it does come with all new hardware. Making sure to put that sleeve in the middle of the wheel before we drop it down through, grabbing our new bolt and passing that through.

And then on the other side, adding the nut that comes with the kit and using those same exact tools to tighten everything down. And once that's tightened down, you're done. You've got a replacement wheel all ready to go. It's gonna have the same eight inch diameter that yours had before, two inch width for a nice wide base and 1,500 pound capacity as far as the weight is concerned for the wheel.
