This air distribution box with a built-in thermostat works with Advent Air AC units (sold separately) and ductless RV air conditioner systems. The dial on the left controls the 3 fan speed settings, which let you increase or decrease the airflow. It also controls the 3 cool settings and the heat setting. The dial on the right allows you to set the temperature. Additionally, there are adjustable registers on the front and back of the box. These can be tilted up, down, or side-to-side for directing the air where needed. The removable air filter prevents dust and dirt from building up on the fan blades.

The air box that you sent me had already been installed by someone. Whoever installed it had damaged the unit to the point of not being usable. They put the unit back in the box without using the original packaging that was enclosed. You for some unknown reason sent the damaged unit to me without proper packing. When I received the box I noticed that contents were loose and rattling around. After opening the box, it was obvious to me what had happened. I realize that mistakes are made, but this is inexcusable. I have requested a replacement unit and have been informed that it should arrive on Wednesday. I will be shipping the damaged unit back. Please don't ship- it to someone else.

Me thinking that the distribution box with the the thermostat was a remote. When I received it I called in and the fellow was very helpful got me hooked up with the unit with the controls on the box and when it arrived and I opened it that's when all hell broke loose. The 1st thing I noticed was the metal part was bent pretty bad, but me being an old body man I'm thinking hammering it out, well that was the 1st mistake , then after I installed that part, installing the cover should of been child's play but that's when I wished I would of sent it back, but no. The main and most concerning issue is, after installing the cover went to install the knobs and that's when I seen yet another issue, both of the switch shafts where bent,upon further inspection the shaft on both switches has been pushed into the switch,the knobs would not stay on so I had to glue em on. At this point it is installed and working OK but it is not rite. I do understand should of sent it back but I was determined to get it installed for an upcoming race. Do as you wish with this info.O' the case itself has a Crack in one corner.

Exactly what was advertised. Saved some money compared to the other options and installation was easy. I replaced a 20 year old Dometic and it was done it about 30 minutes.
Very fast delivery time. Excellent packaging to help prevent damage during shipment. Haven't installed parts yet but everything looks good.
Exactly as advertised, installed myself. If you aren't doing business with etrailer, you get what you deserve.
Love this product. I bought this to replace my carrier a/c unit because my thermostat wasn't working properly Boy, does it blow out the coldest air. I would recommend this product to anyone. Made the right decision, would buy again in the future.

I am very pleased with my order. The AC works very well and customer service was outstanding. Paula at etrailer went above and beyond to get my order shipped very quickly. I have told all my friends about her and etrailer and would highly recommend them to anyone shopping for rv parts.
Fantastic, easy install on standard vent fan opening 14” x 14”. Outside unit installed easily. Some minor adjustments for interior AC control unit.
Everything went together well. The instructions said to tighten the mounting bot to 50 inch pounds, but the gasket didn’t squash down to the half inch they specified. I just tightened as much as I dared and everything sealed up okay. We installed the soft start capacitor with the new AC unit, and it was all way cheaper than any other option out there for a new unit.
I recently installed the Advent AC unit. Am very pleased with the unit. Camping last week with temps as high as 33 C and it kept our motorhome very comfortable. Also, thanks to the staff that helped me. Very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgable.
All arrived in good shape. A little mysterious for installing the capacitor with two black wires to connect.
Very nice unit. I replaced an old year 2010 unit on my RVision Trail Sport 28 ft. travel trailer. It fit the opening the roof with no problem, but I had to do a little adjusting on the inside of trailer. If your handy with small tools and good mechanical thinking ability this unit will work fine. Nothing is simple for all situations. I'm do it again. Once in,woks great!
The distribution box assembly was very strait forward. we had to extend the air plenum, purchase long nuts, and 3/8 bolts because the roof was 6 inches thick. otherwise, the installation went very well!
DOA. Had to pay money to a RV repairman to prove it was defective. Never got reimbursed.

I am so sorry to hear that this arrived DOA. I do see that per ASA, if an item arrives DOA on arrival, then it needs to be replaced. It seems that they wont have any replacements any time soon. We should be having some in our stock by the end of the year. Please let me know if you would like to wait for a replacement or if you would prefer to have a refund and return issued.
I got my order today as you said I would. It is the exact parts I needed and ordered. There was no damages. Tjanks folks! Yall helped me alot. I will be ordering again from you folks.
This fit our older Weekend Warrior toy box perfectly. Over the years we have encountered things that are not available for our older model. This fit PERFECTLY. I measured the opening, looked up the item and bought it in December 2021. It sat for four months until we were able to install it. We took out the old one, put in the new one (it was pretty easy to put in, harder to get it up on the roof), plugged it all in and it worked perfectly. It was getting hot (Arizona) and we live in our RV full time. It started working right away and stayed on 7/24 until Sept. Everything went to smoothly! We have bought from eTrailer before and they've been great. Will use them again.

I have had this for a year and I am a full-time RVer. So far this unit has met or exceeded my expectations.

I am sorry that you received the unit in such a condition. I can assure you that we will not be shipping that unit out to anyone else. I see that your new unit should have arrived by now. I would love to hear your updated feedback on your experience, and/or your thoughts on the product.
