Video Transcript for Titan Trailer Brakes T0776500 Review

Today we're gonna take a look at the Titan 18 and 25/32 long hydraulic brake line with fittings. Now this 18 25/32 long hose will route the brake fluid from the master cylinder of your hydraulic brake actuator to the trailer brakes when used with additional lines and fittings. Now the lines and fittings are not included. Those you would have to purchase separately. We do sell them on our website, and they are usually listed on this product page as a related product. A nice flexible design of this hose makes it perfect for use with fold-away trailer tongues. The brake line is furnished with 3/8-inch by 24 UNF male and female fittings on the ends.

Now the male fitting will fit, threads into your actuator, and the female fitting here attaches to the first steel brake line in your brake system. I do wanna put a ruler on this just to give you an idea of the length. The length from the very end to the very end is right at 18 and 25/32 total length. That should do it for the review on the Titan 18 and 25/32 long hydraulic brake line with fittings.

I needed a brake hose for my trailer and no one had one. I found etrailer.com and searched their site. I found a hose I thought might work. I called. Got Bill E. This man was most professional. We shared a couple quick jokes while he explained the part I was looking at. He helped me order it. It came exactly when he said that it would. The brake hose was an identical replacement piece. The picture I submitted shows the NEW hose. It was wonderful to work with such a professional company. I will be ordering from them (Bill) again. Thank you.

I still have this Brake Hose in service. It is working exactly as expected. Great products and knowledgeable staff.

I researched some great information from your web site. From that information I was able to determine the various manufactures of the surge brake parts on my old boat trailer and order rebuild kits and replacement parts. Thru your web site (and other online research) I was able to rebuild my old boat trailer suspension and braking system to new condition.

by:

Part received as described.

by:

I used this brakeline in conjunction with a Folding Tongue kit for my boat trailer. The use of a flexible line facilitates the operation of the hinge kit, which is paramount in getting my boat to fit in our barn.
FWIW- this particular trailer has been completely rebuilt with components from etrailer.
Many thanks to etrailer for great products, great prices, and even better customer service.

by:

I was glad to find etrailer as I got into the task of fixing the surge brakes Ina 1986 Heritage boat trailer. I wound up needing to replace all the lines along withe the actuator. Etrailer was a great parts resource

by:

I ordered these brake lines to replace the flex lines on my Mastercraft Boat trailer. They arrived exactly as described and were perfect replacement lines. They threaded right into my calipers and connected to the hard lines on the trailer. They were exact matches for the original lines.

etrailer was excellent when ordering. They had several options for new lines. They reviewed each line and recommended these Titan lines. Overnight shipping arrived on time meaning I was able to fix trailer the same day.

by:

Very good service. They had just what I needed to replace my coupler/surge brake assembly. Exact fit replacement. Also the brake hose. High quality.

by:

Ordered two flexible brake lines to replace lines on sailboat trailer. Lines were identical to the originals, if not better. The shipping was prompt and I received the lines within 4 days at standard shipping rates.

by:

I've order parts for converting my boat trailer with a swing out tonge. Looked on multiple sites and always ended up going to etrailer due to availability and price. Great place to look for trailer parts.

by:

A little longer than the one I removed from my '92 CC boat trailer. Connections were right for the 3/16" lines. Got it quicker and cheaper than letting the local parts place order from their supplier.

by:

Ordered this brake hose, even though I thought it was 1-2" longer than my old one, turns out I'm not that good at measuring brake hoses. Fits perfect.

by:

Excellent product - exactly what I needed to replace my old flexible brake line. Even had the date stamped on it showing it was recently manufactured. Now I trust my brakes again!

by:

Just a brake line, but it was exactly what I needed. It fit correctly and is still working great!

by:

Just what I needed to complete my new boat trailer brake installation.

by:

Very nessasary for this installation, 18 inch worked perfect for my trailer, fittings where the correct ones, no problems.

by:

I have ordered a few items from etrailer and they have had every part I've needed and had it delivered very quickly and are very quality parts I will return purchasing parts from etrailer

by:

The brakes work good I haven't used the trailer like I thought that I wood

by:

Used on my eagle boat trailer with folding tongue, worked perfect.

by:

Exactly as described. Even more important was the service from start to finish. I will continue to buy trailer parts from eTrailer.

by:

Received my order one day sooner than expected. Product was as advertised and just what I needed to finish my project. Kudos to Etrailer

by:

Fit perfect on Prestige trailer

by:

  • Replacement Surge Brake Parts for 2004 5 Starr Boat Trailer
It sounds like you have a Demco Actuator to me like # DM8104002. We also have one with a 4 inch drop # DM8104311. Both are Hydraulic Brake Actuators that are rated at 12,500lbs.,has a 2-5/16 inch ball, and bear the DA10 model number. I was able to look up your boat trailer and the parts used between packages varied. I can help you pick out Rotors, Lines, Calipers, and Pads if you can provide me with more information about the current items on the trailer. I will need the number of...

The T4890700 hydraulic line has been discontinued but we do have a solution for you. You can use part # T0776500. This is a hydraulic brake line with fittings but is about an inch longer than the T4890700 . The # T0776500 line will work well for your system.

  • Using Surge Brake Actuator on Trailer with Fold-Away Coupler Hinge
If your trailer is equipped with a fold-away coupler hinge like # FHDPB330301 then you can still use a surge brake actuator like the excellent Zinc-Plated # 099-175-20. The only thing you will want to add is a flexible brake line across the hinge like the Titan # T0776500 to accommodate this function. Please note that the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR35D referenced in your question includes rotor-and-hub assemblies, calipers, mounting brackets, and mounting bolts but it does not include...

  • Disc Brake Setup for 2009 Easyloader Boat Trailer
I am not sure what type of brakes your 2009 Easyloader boat trailer model 17-20 3100 currently has. Based off of the information you have provided me I would be happy to make a recommendation of a disc brake set up for your boat trailer. You're going to need a different surge brake actuator for disc brakes. I recommend the Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator item # 099-175-20. This actuator has a connector for a 2" Ball, is zinc plated for corrosion protection and is rated up to 7,500...

  • Disc Brake Kit Recommendation for Boat Trailer With 3,500-lb Axles
If you have the same boat trailer as you did in your previous question, which has 3,500 lb axles and 13 inch wheels, then the only kit that we offer for your trailer is the Titan Disc Brake Kit # T4843300. The thing about this kit is that it comes with a coupler, which you already have, and the hub/rotors that you were not wanting. This kit includes the combination of a few different kits. Since you already have an actuator, the kits that you would need are the Disc Brake Assembly (2...

  • Flexible Brake Line or Brake Line Kit with Hose Longer than 14-1/4 Inches
We have several different lengths of brake lines. I have included a link to them for you. You do want a line long enough to account for the movement of the trailer suspension. Part # T0776500 is 18-25/32 inches long. Some we have are shorter and some longer. We have a kit that has numerous parts, # T4830000. It comes with 4 lengths of the 18-25/32 inch brake line. The kit like you have referenced is for 1 wheel.

Since the hard line that you have is too long you need to either cut it to length or just shorten it and install the Titan Hydraulic Brake Line # T0776500. You will need to flare the hard line though so that it fits the actuator. If you would rather just replace the brake line on your trailer with flexible hose then you can use the Kodiak Kit # 18SI-BLKIT for a single axle trailer or part # 20TA-BLKIT for a tandem application. I have linked our selection of flexible hose kits for you to...

If not we have # T0776500 that 18-25/32 inches long which is more than enough. The adjuster plugs we carry are # 46-7 for one or # BP10-220 for a pack of four.

  • Replacement 18 Inch Long Brake Line with Male and Female 3/16 Inch Fittings
For a replacement brake line I recommend the Titan Hydraulic Brake Line with Fittings # T0776500. This brake line is 18-25/32" long, has a male and female end, and has 3/8"-24 UNF fittings. The thread size on 3/16" fittings is 3/8"-24 so this will be the same as the hose you have now. I have attached a review video for your reference.

The ends of brake hose # T0776500 are fixed and do not swivel. We also have hose # 18018-SF with a 90 degree bend on one end and the thread piece separate. Kodiak hose # BH-3MFS-1-5 has swivel fittings on both ends and it is 18 inches long so it may be the best option for you.

This kit includes 18-7/8-inch long flexible lines, but if your measurement shows you need longer flex lines we offer various sizes of lines; part # T0777300 is 13-inches; part # T0776500 is 18-25/32-inches...

Otherwise you would either need a line that matches what you have now or you would need adapter fittings to use hose # T0776500.
