Video Transcript for Titan Trailer Brakes T0776300 Review

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Titan mounting bracket for flexible brake line hose. Now, you can mount this bracket anywhere on your trailer frame to hold your flexible brake line hose in place. The bracket will mount easily to your trailer. The flexible hose will run through the hole, the large hole right here in the bracket for secure placement. Now to hold the flexible hose to this bracket, it does require a hose clip. Now, that is not included.

We do sell that separately on our website. It's part number T0776400.I happen to pull one of those clips, and this is what the clip would look like. Basically how it works, you would have your . This is your flexible brake line hose end. This end right here is what will screw into the brake assembly.

This end is what will go through the bracket just like that, and then you take your clip and that clip would just slide on like that. Push it all the way on, and it would hold that hose to your mounting bracket. That should do it for the review on the Titan mounting bracket for the flexible brake line hose.

Pretty straight forward, just a bracket.

Installation pictures.

The disk brake kit included everything required for my trailer with the exception of a third brake hose which I ordered separately. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The most difficult part of the installation was the removal of the old thoroughly rusted brake shoes and drum. The new disk brakes work well and have been problem free. The only change that I would recommend would be to include Nickel-Copper brake lines rather than the steel lines which are prone to rusting.

5 years ago I purchased a disc brake kit for my 24' boat trailer. It had the standard rusted out drum kits so I thought to make the move to disc, as I do my boating in the saltchuck. The install went super easy and it has given me great service.
So, I have a new trailer that needs a full rebuild of the brakes. I started on the website, and as I was assembling my order, a couple of questions come up. So I called Customer Support. Katie was the one who answered the phone and walked me through what was needed, confirmed the differences in a couple of the components that were not explained on the website. Even tracked down one of the technical guys to explain the backup valve functionality. She then walked through the parts listing to confirm, so when it arrives, there would be no surprises or shortages.
Here next step was to confirm shipping dates. She checked stock on all the parts, a couple were back ordered, so she confirmed when they were to arrive, so the 1 shipment would be complete. As I am in Canada, coordinated with the broker to get the parts to me.
At the end of the call, I had the pricing, which was AWESOME, confirmation of shipping dates and contact info, if I had questions or concerns.
The day she said it would arrive at the broker, it DID! She followed up with the status!
Looking forward to getting the system installed next week!
Thanks again for great service and having knowledgeable folks to work with!

by:

The parts arrived as expected. Installation was easy, once the hard brake lines were changed to fit. Knowing that these additional parts and many other additional parts, a reverse lockout solenoid, vehicle and trailer electrical connectors and wires, would be needed for converting drum brakes to disc brakes would have been helpful as a "complete" conversion kit.

the Titan Bracket for Flexible Brake Line Tubing - T0776300 terrible the hole for the flex line were huge the flex line almost went through i had to build a washer to make it work and get the clip to stay on

by:

While I have not had a chance to go through the packages that arrived yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised that they did arrive way ahead of schedule. I also can not thank Katrina B. enough on her help with correcting my mistake with an online order. She was pleasant the whole time, and has followed up with me to make sure that everything is good. Once I get the packages opened and installed I will be writing another review on the parts. For my part Customer Service goes a long way in to making a happy customer. Thanks Katrina

  • How Does Clip for Titan Flexible Brake Line Tubing # T0776400 Install on Trailer Frame
The Titan Flexible Brake Line Tubing Clip # T0776400 installs to your trailer's frame along with a mating bracket, part # T0776300. Bracket part # T0776300 bolts on to your trailer frame (hardware not supplied) and the clip portion then attaches to the bracket and holds the end of the brake line fitting. This should be noted on the product page for clarity and I have requested such an update.

  • Brackets and Clips to Mount Kodiak Flexible Brake Like Hose BH-3MFS90FF-1-5
Kodiak brake hose # BH-3MFS90FF-1-5 does not have that little clip you are referring to and Dexter hose # 18018-SF does have it. For either line I recommend bracket # T0776300. For clips I recommend # T0776400.

  • Installing Brake Lines For Disc Brake Kit On Single Axle Boat Trailer
I have attached a photo that shows how you can run the included lines for the # T4843300 disc brake kit if you plan on running the line down the center of the trailer. There are a couple of additional items you will need to run it this way. You will need a flex line to go between the tee mounted to the axle and the hard line running from the actuator. This is because the entire axle will be moving. You will need part # T4890700, part # T0776400, and part # T0776300. If you run the brake...

  • Can Titan Bracket for Flexible Brake Line Tubing Be Welded On
You can tack or spot weld on the Titan flexible brake line tubing bracket # T0776300 if you wanted to. If welding to a dissimilar metal be sure to have a professional welder perform the installation. If it were me I would go the easy way and just use a self-tapping screw to install the bracket.

  • Parts Needed to Install Titan Disc Brake Kit and Swing-Away Actuator # T4843300
The Titan Disc Brake Kit you referenced, part # T4843300 includes the flex line to make the transition between the actuator and swinging portion of the trailer tongue and the stationary portion. The brake line would then transition to hard line until the axle is reached, where the second piece of flex line would make the transition to the hard line that runs along the axle. At this point, you will need two flex lines, part # T0777300, brackets, part # T0776300 and retaining clips, part...

  • Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator and Parts to Add Disc Brakes to Third Trailer Axle
Sounds like you have a surge brake coupler on your trailer currently and are looking for a way to convert it to an electric over hydraulic setup and then also add brakes to your third axle. The electric over hydraulic actuator I like the best is the Cargo Towing Solutions HydraStar Electric-Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes # HBA16. This actuator has proven to be very reliable and rarely has problems. The Kodiak 225 caliper that you have on your other axles is a very common caliper that...

  • Recommended Parts Needed To Rebuild Tri-Axle Trailer With EOH Brakes
We have many of the components that will work for you but we do not carry axles that would be big enough to handle the heavy load you said your boat and trailer weigh. I recommend finding a dealer locally to get the right axle for your trailer and boat. When they build the axles for you they should also install brake mounting flanges and spindles to match the other items recommended below. Since you mentioned 8,000 lb axles, I will use that figure for my recommendations for the other...

  • Disc Brake Kit Recommendation for Boat Trailer With 3,500-lb Axles
If you have the same boat trailer as you did in your previous question, which has 3,500 lb axles and 13 inch wheels, then the only kit that we offer for your trailer is the Titan Disc Brake Kit # T4843300.
