Flexible Brake Hose with 90-Degree Swivel
This Kodiak brake hose is made of rubber, making it a practical choice for a variety of applications. Because you can easily bend it, a rubber hose is simpler to work with than a rigid stainless steel brake line. This flexibility makes a rubber hose great for use with foldaway trailer tongues because it is less likely to kink or break when bent. In addition, rubber hoses allow for a wide range of motion so articulating parts can effectively function. These qualities make rubber hoses better suited than steel lines for trailers with torsion axle suspension systems and trailers that have disc brakes.
And because this hose has a 90-degree fitting on one end, you can install it in tight spaces where there is limited clearance. So you won't have to make a kink in the hose to fit it up against your fender or in any other tight spot.
Stainless steel brake lines have braided exteriors, which can not only wear against exterior surfaces, but also against the interior lining of the hose if dirt gets underneath the steel braid. And if the braid on a stainless steel line tears, it can cut into the hose lining. The exterior surface of this hose is solid rubber, so there are no crevices for debris to enter.
Durable Fittings with Deep Threads
Kodiak brake hoses have corrosion-resistant brass fittings with stainless steel flares. These fittings have a gap built into them that allows room for a line wrench - also called a flare nut wrench - to slide over the line and down to the nut. This type of wrench grips the nut better than a standard open-ended wrench so there is less chance of stripping the threads as you tighten down the nut.
The stainless steel that is used to create the flares on this hose is stronger than brass. As a result, these fittings are more durable than ones made entirely of brass. The stainless flares are primarily designed to keep the fittings from splitting when you tighten them down, but they offer absolute rust protection as well.
Kodiak's fittings have deeper threads than many other fittings on the market to provide a higher thread engagement. Deeper threads offer an advantage when used with fittings that have the same thread depth. These Kodiak fittings will work with most fittings on the market, but when they're used with other Kodiak fittings, the result is a stronger connection with fewer leaks.

The service from “ETRAILER”is OUTSTANDING always has been !!! Where things fall short is the shipping company they use ( fedex) , don’t know what has happened,but it’s all completely broken down…never delivered on time ,always some excuse,and one can never get ahold of a live operator for help ! While this is not a reflection on the good folks of “etrailer” , I think they should choose a different shipping provider.
I ordered the Kodiak brake hoses as part of a complete replacement of old boat trailer brake shoes for stainless disc brakes. While it was a bit scary to strip off the old brake shoes, all the disc brake parts from etrailer fit and performed perfectly on the 600 mile trip through the coastal mountains this summer.

This break hose did the trick, I had a problem with not enough room. This 90 on one end took care of all of that.
My only complaint i would have is I sprung for 2 day shipping still took three days. But other then that everything was good
I have a 2001- 38 foot toy hauler fifth wheel. the brakes on it where not the best, I found them to be slow in responding and always having trouble with magnets, and shoes don't last long, I converted it over to Kodiak disk brakes. The straight line did not work well on the drop axles because of the flex of axle over ruff roads. The 90 degree brake hose when put in right place worked like a dream. The straight line I have are being used in the line from pump to the axles. sorry don't have pictures. So all in all love the parts. Thank you very much. PS: sorry it took so long to reply
All the KODIAK brake parts work wonderful! I replaced all three axles and all replaced all the disc brake parts on all axles! They are working great and stop my 12,000 boat great! good stuff and to not this is my third set of Kodiaks on the same trailer over the last 15 years, a lot of abuse, pulling in mountains, salt water etc. they hold up well and I always treat my vehicles boat included like ann airplane and simply replace when 70% of the component is toast!
The right angle fitting was a great way to avoid chaffing on the chassis of the trailer. Hose was a great compliment to the whole disc brake conversion, everything works so well.
I ordered 2 brake lines but received the wrong lines. I called about the problem and the person I spoke to was very helpful. I was told they would send the correct hoses and to keep the wrong ones.
The new "one" showed up which was the correct line but I ordered 2. I called again and was told by a very helpful person that the 2nd line would be sent immediately. Three days later I have the brake line.
Overall the product looks well-made and everyone was extremely helpful, but it took a month and 2 phone calls to get my order right.
I don't think I will order from etrailer again. Not because of the product or customer support but because it took 3 tries to get my order right.
These are the fix I needed to make the brake line tuck in behind the wheel and not have an issue with the frame or spring

Overall the disc brakes work very good. The caliper bolt heads are very large
I had do grind off some of them to clear the suspension on the trailer
We have purchased from etrailer numerous times over the last year. They are very prompt in shipping orders and the products always seem to be in stock as we have had not recent back orders. The products are very reasonably priced and name brand and good quality. We need their products often and we plan to continue to purchase from them.

Just what I was needing to do a good clean install on my 5th wheel RV.
You had exactly what we needed. The fitting on the ends fit perfectly and were high quality. To top it all off, shipping was superb. We live in Alaska, and sometimes getting a supplier to ship here in a timely fashion, at a reasonable cost, if at all, is difficult. I received an email that the item had shipped the same day I ordered it, and it was here 3 days latter. Service like that is hard to beat.

was not delivered. hard to talk to a human, no return call. sent email did get an immediate response but i missed it. should have just cancelled it. this all drug on for about 4/5 weeks customer went somewhere else. cancelled my card payment they did expedite a hose i had quit tring to call. even with this problem this is a great company to do business with this was just a bad deal.
