Today we're going to take a look at the replacement trailer brake shoe and lining kit for the Dexter 12-inch electric brake assemblies. This is for the left-hand driver's side. Now this will replace the shoes and the lining on one left-hand side 12-1/4 by 3-3/8 inch Dexter electric trailer brake assembly. These brakes have a nice automotive-grade friction material. It's molded to the brake shoes, and since they're fully bonded they're not riveted to the shoes, gives you a lot longer life, more braking torque. If you notice right up here, they are stamped R for right, L for left to tell you what position they go on the brake assembly.
Basically, the other thing you might want to just remember is that the smaller pad compared to this longer pad, the smaller pad is always the primary shoe. That'll always face the front of the trailer. Now this does include the two brake shoes with the lining, and again, this is designed to fit the Dexter 12-1/4 inch brake assemblies for 8,000 pound, 9,000 pound, and 10,000 pound general duty axles with the cast decking plate after the year 2000. But that should do it for the review on the replacement trailer brake shoe and lining kit for Dexter 12-inch electric brake assemblies. This is for the left-hand driver's side.

Difficult application on my 5th wheel brakes. The parts I ordered were a 98% satisfaction. Anchor pins on two sets were not correct.
