It bolts right onto your cushioned weight-distributing shank (AMAC1) to give you a sturdy, adjustable, 4-hole plate - perfect for use with pintle hitches.I needed a base plate for my lintel hook that would fit on a standard 2” adjustable shank. This plate for the bill perfectly, however, I will need new bolts to accommodate my shank pins. The price, quality, and shipping were all fantastic.
Do not purchase this item. I ordered this item, and the plate that is welded onto the U channel was welded off center. This blocked me from putting two of the bolts throlugh the plate, while having plenty of room on the other side. I called customer service and they sent me a replacement, which had the same defect, but also on this one they ground off some of the weld in order to try and correct the misalignment.
I've purchased several of these over the years and find that they are very heavy duty and welded well and straight. The hole spacing is as described and fits all of my 2 inch distribution shanks. I'm sure that I'll be buying more of these in the future. Recommended.
