Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Curt pintle mount attachment for the Rebellion XD Adjustable Ball Mount. Now this accessory is designed to mount onto your Curt Rebellion XD Adjustable Ball Mount, which we do sell separately on our website. And to give you an idea what we're talking about, I happened to pull that Rebellion Ball Mount and this is what it looks like. And you can see this pintle mount attachment is designed to go right in there.
Put your pins in and you can see the face right here on the pintle mount attachment.It's designed to accept any of the Curt mount style pintle hook or ball and pintle combination hitches. Does include the four bolts and lock washers that are included for installation of that pintle hook or ball and pintle combination to mount to this attachment. Now the pins and clips to attach this attachment to the Rebellion Ball Mount, they are not included. Basically the pins will be included with the Rebellion so you can just use those pins. If you notice on this attachment right in the center here, it has this integrated rubber dampener for enhanced vibration resistance.When you do install that, it'll be up against this rubber dampener to keep the noise down, and also prevent any vibration.
This part is a cast steel construction for optimum strength. Has a nice dark gray teridium powder coat finish. Do want to give you a few measurements on this. Let me just go ahead and set this Rebellion back down here. The pintle plate holes right here, the threaded holes that the bolts will go into, center to center horizontally is right at 3-5/16" wide.
Center to center vertically is 1-3/4" high. Now the weight capacity will be limited to what the weight capacity is on the Rebellion XD Ball Mount, which is 15,000 pounds. But that should do it for the review on this Curt Pintle Mount Attachment for the Rebellion XD Adjustable Ball Mount.
