Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement ball platform for your Gen-Y Glyder ball mount. This has a six inch maximum drop and a 7,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this part will replace the adjustable ball mount that came with your Gen-Y hitch Glyder ball mount. Basically, you just bolt this platform onto the ball mount and it, to hold your hitch ball.

Now, the hitch ball's not included. We do sell that separately. The hitch ball hole diameter is one inch so when you do get a hitch ball, you need to make sure it has a diameter, shank diameter of one inch. And with all these five rows of holes here, you can easily raise or lower the ball platform to fit the height of your trailer's coupler. Give you a few dimensions on the holes themselves.

If we measure center to center horizontally, 2 1/2 inches that way. And if we go vertically, centered to center is 1 3/8 inches between the holes. This is a heavy-duty steel construction. Uses a zinc primer and then an epoxy powder coat to help resist corrosion. Now, the maximum drop on this platform is six inches and it can only be used in the drop position.
