Today we're going to take a look at the Demco 5-position adjustable bolt on channel bracket. It has a 12,000 pound weight capacity. Now this channel bracket will offer five different mounting positions for your coupler. Now the coupler that goes in here is sold separately. You can use this bracket to mount a ball coupler, lunette ring or clevis on your trailer.The five positions would be one, two, three, four, and five. Now this is a sturdy steel construction.
It is a bolt-on installation. Weight capacity, again, is 12,000 pounds. It is designed to mount to a 3" wide channel tongue so the measurement on the inside here is going to be right at 3". Channel height, which will be from here to here, that is going to be right at 12". The channel width, which again will be measured inside to inside, it's going to be right at 3".Now the holes on the channel, they are 5/8" diameter holes and the distance apart on them from center to center if we measure...
Let me turn this a little bit, there we go. It's going to be right at 2" between the holes. And the mounting hole dimensions, which are these three mounting holes right here, if we measure the dimensions on those center to center from the furthest ones, they're going to be 5" inches. From the two closest right here, it's 2". So far so good. Easy install. In addition to the 3 grade 8 bolts (purchased at HD) I welded it as well.

Work great! I had to shorten the part that bolts on to my floe 4 place snowmobile trailer about an inch so it wouldn't interfere with the trailer lights cord coming out of the trailer tongue.
