What's up everybody Adam out of here with etrailer, today we're gonna be taking a look at the Demco EZ Latch Coupler. So it really sets this one apart from all the others is we're not gonna have to lift this up every time, pull a pin, yada, yada, yada, all you got to do is lower down, and it'll latch on itself. This was a two inch hitch receiver, and it's made of a nice sturdy steel construction, so it's not really gonna rust away over time. I just like the easy lashes just because they're super easy to load up and take off and adds a nice sleek look to the front of your trailer. This coupler right here is gonna be for a two inch ball, and it's gonna have a capacity of 10,000 pounds, you wanna match that up with your trailer and what you plan on hauling. If you wanted to upgrade from this and get a little bit more beefier system, and you do like the oxide orange that you see.

We do have one that's gonna have 21,000 pound capacity and it's gonna be a two and five sixteenths inch balls. Its gonna be the same measurements all the way through. So that is something you could do if you need a little bit more capacity. There isn't a whole lot to couplers, you just want to make sure that is gonna be able to handle whatever you plan on using it with. But all in all, it's gonna get the job done when it comes to the easy latches.

It's easy, I just like these, they look better, and they're a lot sleeker. And if I we're to compare this to just a normal coupler, like I have on my boat trailer, they seem to kinda seize up the normal standard ones. And also there's just a lot more stuff in the that's happening. And with this, everything's kind of all by itself. So whenever you lower down, it's ready to go, I just like to work smarter, not harder.

And easy last is definitely the product for you. First things first, take off whatever you had on there before. But if we're just adding this to the setup on our new trailer, you just wanna make sure it has the right pattern. So it's gonna be four and a half inches by four and a half inches. And we don't really have any wiggle room there.

So that's what bolts up to this. And we will have to grab our own hardware. So one, make sure it's beefier enough to go all the way through. And also we wanna make sure that we don't really have much play in there. And our holes are gonna have a three quarter of an inch diameter. So just pair that up with your hardware, and we're good to go. So what I'm doing is just gonna put it exactly where it was before. I wanna put it all of my bolts through. If you do if you put them in a certain order, it should stay up, on its own just like that. And then for the back end, do you wanna put a lock washer on into the nut. Once you get that on, I guess go ahead and tighten all this stuff down. But we wanna make sure, torque it down properly. You can use torque wrench grab it. But we also want to make sure we torque these down pretty evenly. Just so that plate gets squished down there perfectly even through our all flover bolts. So whatever hardware you have grabbed the socket wrench and then you can go ahead and tied it up. And that'll do it for a look at the Demco EZ latch two inch trailer coupler..
