Today we're going to review Part #TLM9002. This is the Tork Lift Pintle Hook Mounting Plate Adapter designed for the TorkLift Adjustable Shanks. This mounting plate will attach to that adjustable shank from TorkLift. Those we do sell separately, they're Part #TLM9000 or the TLM9001. Those are designed to fit on the TorkLift SuperHitch dual-receiver hitches. I'm going to bring one of those adjustable shanks out here in a minute to show you how this attaches to it. This mounting plate adapter as you can see here has the four hole pattern which will let you mount a pintle hook attachment to it. Again, the pintle hook would also be sold separately. This is a steel construction, has a nice black powder coat finish.

I've laid out the included hardware, it's all at grade 8 mounting hardware which is included. It also has the set screw which is a grade 8 that I've already installed into the adapter. Now it does come with these two 3/4 inch bolts, nuts and lock washers which are used to attach this adapter plate to the adjustable shank. Also come with the four 1/2 inch bolts, nuts, flat washer and lock washers, and those are used to attach the pintle hook to the mounting plate. As I mentioned, I'm going to bring out a example of the Tork Lift Adjustable Shank. This one happens to be the extra long model.

As you can see, it's very big, very heavy. This is the Part #TLM9001. And just to show you, it has the dual 2 inch shanks which are designed to fit into the TorkLift SuperHitch dual receiver hitches. So once that's installed and then you see it has a row of holes for putting this adapter plate at whatever height is recommended for your application. What you would basically do is just slide this U over there and then line the holes up to what height you would need this attached at. Then using the large 3/4 inch bolts, just put them through here to attach it to the position you need. Now this mounting plate adapter does have a weight capacity of 20,000 lbs., it has a tongue weight capacity of 2,000 lbs.
