Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the three quarter inch trailer nose plate by Buyers Products. This is going to be a three quarters inch carbon steel plate that has the different mounting locations on it, so that you could add on a lunette ring, like you see on the screen there so that you can hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle and pull your heavy loads. This does have your standard five eighths inch holes here, and these are separated about four and a half inches on center, both horizontally and vertically. So it's going to work great for those four and a half inch square bolt patterns on most of your couplers and lunette rings, those sort of things.
You can see, we do have three different mounting locations so that we can put those lunette rings or other couplers at the correct height for our tow vehicle.So it's going to make it much easier to get hooked up. And because this is that carbon steel construction with a plain finish, it's going to be very easy to get welded onto our trailers. So that will be a nice firm connection. Our overall dimensions, it's right about seven inches wide. Let me get my tape measure out here so we can go over the height.
You can see it's right at about 16 inches. Now again, this is the three quarter inch thick nose plate. There is also a one inch thick plate available here at etrailer.com. So depending on the thickness that you need, one of the two of those are going to do a really good job for you. And I think both are going to be great options, just a nice, solid, dense piece.
