It is working out great

We did a wonderful 6 week trip this summer with our new-to-us Winnebago Minnie Drop camper trailer. While driving across the Wyoming desert we encountered a 45 mph cross wind. I was worried about the wind effect on the trailer but the only loss was the lid on the Camco propane tank cover. We completed the trip without a lid and I set about getting a new one recently. I found the etrailer site to be unmatched for information and help in making sure the lid would be a match. First of all, there is no ID on the cover body indicating which model it is. Luckily there was a post by one of the helpful people showing the dimensions. It looked like the hinge positions matched up so I ordered one. It is a very reasonable price, delivered as promised, easy to install, and a perfect match. Many thanks to the etrailer staff for making a potentially wrong purchase so easy. If all online sites were as thoughtfully designed and perfectly executed it would make online purchase experiences much more enjoyable and less risky. This propane cover was purchased to replace one that sailed away during transport of our trailer. The company is great and I have been happy with this as well as other purchases. This time I drilled a couple of small holes and used a cable tie as a safety strap. Should be a one time purchase :) 848920

Camco did a poor job engineering how this door mounts. IF you don't fasten it down yourself with some type of extra hinge it will fly off and be lost. I forgot and left it on, and sure enough, it flew off. 313196
