Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Curt Custom 5th Wheel Bracket Kit for the Ram trucks. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2013 Ram 2500 trucks, and also, the 2013 and newer Ram 3500 trucks without the OEM prep package. And on a custom fit part like this one, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, these brackets here are designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points for your 5th wheel rails to attach to. Now, the base rails we do sell separately on our website, and they do require the Curt base rails, either part number C16104, C16204, or the C16205.
Again, those base rails we do sell separately on our website. Now, these brackets here will provide a nice custom fit by mounting to existing holes that are already in your vehicle's frame. So what that does is it'll eliminate the need for any drilling, and it'll cut the installation time in half when compared with the universal mounting kits that are out there. This will include everything here on the table, all the necessary hardware to install these brackets to your vehicle. If you noticed, these mounting bracket parts are a black powder coat finish that'll resist corrosion, and this kit is designed to work with the B&W, the Curt, the Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, and Husky above bed 5th wheel trailer hitches.
