Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this replacement offset coupler. Now this replacement coupler is gonna work with your ranch hitch, 5th-wheel-to-gooseneck coupler adapter. And this will work with both the straight and offset models. So whether you originally had an offset model and it's become damaged you're needing an exact replacement, or if you started out with the straight and you've gone from a long bed to a short bed pickup this will work in that place of that straight one, and give you eight inches of additional clearance so that you can make those tighter turns and that sort of thing. Now this does have the replacement cable system that allows you to remotely engage your coupler system there, so it will make sure that your gooseneck ball is firmly in place and engaged properly.
This does have a 24,000 pound weight capacity and it is made here in the USA so you can trust it is gonna do a great job for you, be well made, and long lasting. So again, if you're either needing an exact replacement for your original offset or if you originally had a straight coupler and you're needing a little bit more clearance this is gonna be a great option for you. nicely manufactured adaption for the stock trailer hitch, i bought it just in case, i may still install it because the little trailer has very limited space between tail end of my truck and front mounted storage for propane bottles on 5th wheel trailer, i plan on taking this trailer off road in rough country, so may need extra twist and turn ability in rough an rocky terrain.
I have a 43' fifth wheel trailer. The business that I am in requires me truck to be setup as a gooseneck. So when I bought my fifth wheel travel trailer I had them set it up as a gooseneck. Then I realized that I had a short bed truck and it was impossible to jackknife the trailer with out damage to the noise cone and truck. That when purchased this product and have had no issues.
Part was damaged when shipped. They called me on a Sunday and sending replacement part. Great Customer Service A++++ Company!

i had to install it after all.made the difference, but i had to spot weld it to the other half, because it twisted after initial installation.
