Today we're going to be taking a look at the Replacement Lift Handle for Curt Weight Distribution Systems. This replaces the lift handle that came with your weight distribution system. It's going to work with Curt trunnion-bar and round-bar weight distribution systems. Simply attaches to the lift bracket. That way, you can easily raise and release your spring bars. Basically, a leverage bar makes that process much easier and a lot safer. You'll notice that it has a nice angle design, so it's going to offer great leverage.
On this end, it has a nice easy-grip handle. That way, it's very easy to control, very easy to operate. It's made from a steel construction, and it's going to have a durable black powder-coated finish, which is going to keep it nice for a long time. The lift handle fits my tuff tow weight distribution system. It's more heavy duty than the original that I lost. I painted it yellow so hopefully I won't misplace it.
These clamps hold our sway bars perfectly and installed with ease. Product does exctly what we hoped and would recommend to all.

Now we will be able to use a safe means to finish hooking up the equalized hitch.

Although I haven't tried it yet, the lever bar looks like it will perform well. This is a heavy duty item that is made to last.....it's heavier and better quality than the original one that came with the hitch. The handle is well made too. I would definitely recommend this item if you are looking for a replacement. I'm going to paint mine blaze orange so I don't lose it!
I lost my original pry bar for my 10,000# weight distribution hitch. I looked all over, but no one at RV Part departments knew what I was looking for. Fortunately, someone said try etrailer.com they have everything. I got my pry bar in a few days and I painted it yellow so I do not lose it.

Works absolutely fine.
I bought this to replace a similar handle for a husky chain trunnion. Chrissy, the etrailer rep, told be she couldn't gaurantee it would work, b but I needed something and this was the closest I could find.
And behold, it worked better than the husky factory one.

A very handy device. Can you swing up the flip up brackets without one? Of course, but it's a lot easier and safer with one. Too economical to not have one.

The lift handle still works great after a year. Its heavy duty and I expect a lifetime of use, if I dont lose it
