This plug was recommended, and I think it is for a goose neck which means it is about ten times tougher than the RV plugs.1708604

Silly me. I did not grasp from the website that the male plug and female socket are both included in the same tbox. There's a mounting bracket in there, too. This is good stuff. I was pushed when ordering and somehow didn't fully understand what was included with the part number. I ordered a few extra male connectors as a result, but what the heck. Made from metal that corrodes quickly. Put it in and 1 month later it was rusty inside at all the contact points. Need to be stainless and brass for this environment.311853
