Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement lift bracket for the Curt weight distribution systems. This is going to replace one lift bracket on your weight distribution system. It's designed to work with the Curt trunnion bar and round bar weight distribution systems. It simply provides the attachment point for your lift chains. This bracket mounts on the framing of your trailer, and then you connect your lift chain to the hook, right here, and then you can raise this up into position to apply the necessary tension to the spring bar. So, really nice design, steel construction. It's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion with the durable black powder coated finish. A few measurement to go over with you real quick.
It's going to take up about 4" along the trailer frame. It's designed to fit trailer frames that have a width measurement of up to about 2 3/4" wide. You can see everything that it comes with. You're going to get one lift bracket. You're going to get one 2" long by 1/2" diameter bolt, one 4" long by 1/2" diameter bolt, and one safety clip. The safety clip installs right here and secures the bracket into the engaged position.
The longer bolt can be used on trailer frames that are more narrow. Then the shorter bolt can be used on trailer frames that are a little bit thicker or wider. Also, nice low profile design, really doesn't interfere much, in most situations, with items that may be mounted onto the trailer frame such as propane cylinders or tanks, battery boxes, generators, those kinds of items. So, really nice design. Again, this is a replacement for the Curt weight distribution systems..

These were just what I needed to use with my Valley equalizer bars. I have 2 trailers I use with the bars, and this saves me from having to swap the brackets. The only downside was the pipe I use to move the brackets up and down was too small for the new ones, I was able to use a slightly large diameter pipe instead.
Overall, great experience, very fast shipping (as always), and a good product at a very good price.
I had a set of sway bars but not the trailer attachments. After searching the internet I found at etrailer what I thought would work. I ordered the parts on normal shipping costs. They upgraded my shipping and the parts arrive a couple of days earlier. I have not yet installed the parts but they are exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend etrailer for RV parts.
My first order ws a miss mtch set. But e trailer took care of it fast thanks for all your hard work.
The material looks strong and sturdy. The pin hole for locking back is a cheaper way of making the bracket, but I will see if it holds as good as the other designs. This welded steel design is better than a forged design that the other brands had, because it can be welded back together if it breaks. The others cannot.
