Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at these Blue Ox SwayPro Clamp-On Lift Brackets for eight inch trailer frames. So these clamp-on lift brackets are designed to replace the lift brackets that come with your Blue Ox SwayPro weight distribution system. So those standard lift brackets that come with the system are going to fit trailer frames that are three inches to six inches tall, so if you have a trailer that has an eight inch tall frame, this is going to be the way to go. Just to give you a little idea, side by side comparison, you can see that this is going to be a little bit taller here above that rotating portion, so that's going to accommodate that extra two inches for your trailer frame. Otherwise, these are gonna be just like the originals, you're gonna have that same low-profile design, so it's going to allow clearance for your other accessories that are mounted on your trailer frame, you got the rotating latch that will allow you to lift up your chains, so that they're gonna provide that tension on your spring box.

They include the wrench that you would need to rotate them back, but it's gonna be the same as the wrench that originally came with your system, so you probably already have that still laying around that you can use on this system. So basically, these are just gonna install right in place of those standard brackets, so that you can use your weight distribution system on your trailer with eight inch tall frames.
