Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the CURT Replacement Weight Distribution Head for trunnion style bars. Now this fits CURT trunnion style weight distribution systems, part numbers 17300, 17301, 17302, C17330, C17331 and C17332. The unit is made from a solid steel construction. It's very strong, very durable, has a nice powder coated finish on it to resist rust and corrosion, and lasts a long time.The unit is adjustable when paired with a shank that has multiple adjustment holes. The bars fit into the connection points right here. It does have the attachment point on either side for a sway control system, and the last thing I want to mention really is the ball hole diameter, measuring this right here, so this will accept a hitch ball with a shank diameter of up to an inch and a quarter, so this is designed for a hitch ball with a shank that has a diameter of an inch and a quarter on it.

Went from a Reese Trunnion set up to the Curt set up with dual sway mounts. We had a Curt prior to this so we had the solid shank to go with the head unit.
Installation was easy and straight forward.
This was a great experenice...it is the second time I have had to deal with these people and both times it has been great....first time they delivered my trailer hitch right to my door in elliot lake ontario, canada....the second time they delivered right to my winter home in sebring florida....this is a awesome group of people who do a great job at pleasing the customers.....VERY PLEASED....
I received this part for my Curt model 17302 hitch and installed it finding it to fit as expected. The reason that I replaced this part is that the original part was damaged due to an accident. I am a satisfied customer!
I was having to transfer my hitch head between my motorhome & my 2015 Ram 2500. Now I have a head set for each. I can hook up & go. Works great.
