Today we're gonna be taking a look at the replacement hardware kit for CURT TruTrack Weight Distribution Systems with integrated sway control. This replaces the hardware from your CURT TruTrack Weight Distribution System with active sway control that's rated for 15,000 pounds. The part number for that system is C17501. I have everything that it includes laid out here on the table. It's gonna include the necessary hardware for attaching the head, shank, spring bars, that sort of stuff. So, real quick, we're just gonna go over all the different components that it includes. These snap pins right here, are the pins that secure the spring bars, inside the head assembly.
This is a 5A fench pin that comes with a clip to secure the weight distribution shank inside the receiver inaudible 00:00:46. These bolts, these washers, and these two nuts are what secures the head assembly to the weight distribution shank. This short bolt right here is the set bolt that installs in the threaded hole at the bottom of the weight distribution head assembly. That kind of helps set the appropriate tilt or angle that you need for your application. You're gonna get the adjustment rods, the longer one and the short one. These make tilting the head assembly much easier, much quicker and easier than using the old traditional spacer rivet and washer design. But, I do want to indicate that when using the short adjustment rod, it does come with a couple washers that can be added for further adjustment.
