Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Curt replacement base leg set. Now this set is going to give you two replacement legs for your Curt A16 fifth-wheel trailer hitch. These are gonna be an exact replacement from Curt so you can trust they are going to work with your A16 hitch. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. These can also be paired with a Curt Q16 head unit.
If you have one of those, that will create a complete fifth wheel trailer hitch for you. This does come with the hardware for attaching to the base rails. This does have a nice carbide, a black finish to it. And because it is a Curt product you can trust it is gonna be compatible with both your A16 unit and your Q16 head unit. So that completes our look for today.

Already installed. I replaced the R16 slider rails. As it turns out I never used them in the slide position. Installing the Base Legs eliminated a good amount of weight making it much easier to handle. It also gave me more room in the bed.
I did have to file a little on the feet and rails as it fit slightly different. Just a little adjustment though.
Big improvement and etrailer came through with fast shipping.

I had a slider hitch with the Curt A16 head. I replaced the slider with these legs since my 5th wheel is equipped with a Turning Point pin. Perfect fit on my 2012 Ram 2500 !!
The A16 Slider hitch mounted on 2018 ram puck frame was too tall for my new ram 4500 flat bed, I installed the A16 fixed legs to the A16 slider head mounted it to a curt gooseneck adapter plate, it made a significant drop in the height of the hitch. Thanks etrailer for providing multiple options for various hitch challenges.

I used these legs to convert a slider hitch that was mount on a ram puck system to a fixed hitch mounted on a flat bed truck to make a long haul across country. Worked great
I ordered these to lower my reciever in the bed of my truck. Originally I had a slider hitch when I owned my 2012 Ram but found that when I changed to my 2016 Ram with a Rambox I needed to go to a Sidewinder turret on my 5th wheel. The combo of the Sidewinder and slider hitch putched the front of my 5th wheel too much for my comfort. These fixed legs were the perfect solution. Etrailer got them to me quickly!
these legs were an exact fit for my fifth wheel hitch. I have used them several times and they solid .
I replaced a R16 roller assembly with the Q16 leg assembly because I no longer needed a roller hitch. Everything bolted right up with no problems. The hitch height adjustment on the roller was a low as it could go for my setup, on the leg assembly the hitch height adjustment was in the middle position for the same hitch height. The leg assembly is probably about 100 pounds lighter than the roller assembly. Removal and installation of the hitch is now much easier. As always, customer support at e-Trailer was great.

The C16920 legs matched up very nicely to my C16515 Head Unit. I found I no longer needed the original slide mount and these legs are much lighter, making removal and installation much easier.
