Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the CURT OEM 5th-wheel hitch legs for the Ford Super Duty towing prep package. This has a 30,000-pound gross towing weight capacity. These are a custom-fit part. They are designed to fit the 2011 and newer Ford Super Duty trucks with the eight-foot-long bed and the factory-installed under-bed towing prep package. This custom base here is specifically designed.

It attaches to the receivers in your Ford truck's factory-installed under-bed 5th-wheel towing prep package. This will adapt the CURT 25K and 30K 5th-wheel hitches to fit your Ford puck system. Basically, your hitch head will bolt right in the middle here. These legs work with the CURT A25, the Q25, the A30, and the PowerRide hitch heads. All those hitch heads, we do sell separately on our website.

We attach this to the under-bed system. It uses a quarter-turn anchoring system for quick installation and removal. I wanted to zoom in and show you what we're talking about. You'll see on this side, and it'll be the same as the other side. But basically, what you'll do to install this, just take your pinning clip right here and pop off the clip and remove the pin.

Now the handles will be released. You can rotate them out of quarter of a turn, both of them, just like that. It moves these tabs into the open position. Again, you'll do the same on the other side. Once you got these open, you can drop your whole 5th-wheel right into the under-bed system.

Once this drops in, then you just turn these, and it'll rotate these tabs at all corners to lock it into the under-bed system. Once you get it all the way, you put your pin and clip back through there and then clip it, and that'll lock the handles in place to keep it secure. If you do install this and it's a little loose, you can adjust these anchors here to eliminate any movement between the legs and the under-bed rail. Pull out the cotter pin. Tighten it down if you need be. If it's too tight, take out the cotter pin, loosen it up so you can adjust the anchors. These parts here, they are co-cured in a rust-resistant liquid A coat. They are protected by a durable battleship-gray finish, and they do have a gross towing weight capacity of 30,000 pounds.
