Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a ratchet tie-down kit for square tube ladder racks. The ratchet tie-down kit bolts to square tube-style ladder racks for convenient anchoring, and cargo control points. The brackets, on each system, measure five inches long from edge to edge, and they are designed to fit a tube-style rack, so it's a square tube-style rack.This angled steel, and it measures an inch and a half, by an inch and a half. Now, each tie-down is made from steel, and features zinc plating, and black powder-coated finishing, for excellent corrosion and rust-resistance. With this installed, it simply adds convenient, permanent securing points to a ladder rack with square tubing.It's really simple in how it works. So, it simply bolts onto your ladder rack, hardware is included.

Everything you need for your installation is included. When you're ready to loosen up the strap, what you need to do is use the knob to gain a little bit of slack there, lift up the lever, and that allows you to extend your strap as needed. So, you can take your strap, you can take it around your load, or your gear, and then you can anchor it back to the bracket. And, then, when you're ready to tighten it, you can use the hand knob, here on the side, to tighten your strap around your load.Make sure this is engaging the wheel here, and then, once you're ready to really apply tension and finish the tightening process, you can take the included tool, place it in there, and you can finish the tightening process and apply tension that way. When this isn't being used, you can place it in the holder, so it's out of the way, but it's always there when you need it.It's a really, nice, easy system to use.

The strap goes around your cargo, or around your load, and it anchors back to itself. It uses the bracket as an anchor point. The safe working load limit, per strap, is 500 pounds. Each strap measures an inch and a half wide, by seven feet long. And, the strap is made from durable nylon, so it's very strong, very durable.

On the ends of the strap, we have the nice double J-hook design for added strength and durability. When it comes to the bracket here, the mount holes are separated on center by three and seven-eighths inches, so you have a set here, and then you have a set here.Again, mounting hardware is included.
