Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a ratchet tie down system for round tube ladder racks. The ratchet ties downs bolt to the round tube style ladder rack for convenience when it comes to anchoring and cargo control points. Your installation hardware or mounting hardware is included. The brackets measure 5" long and they fit a 2" round tube ladder rack.Now each tie down is made from a durable steel construction. So we're looking at a zinc plating and black powder coat finishing. So it offers excellent corrosion and rust resistance.

It adds a convenient permanent, securing point to ladder rack with round tubing. It's really an easy system to control and operate. So once it's installed again, it bolts directly to the round tubing of the ladder rack system. And when they're not being used, you can actually roll it up and you can hook the double J hook design to the anchor point right here. So that way your straps are out of the way.

You don't have to worry about securing or tying off any excess.When you're ready to extend it out, you got this lever right here that you can flip up and that allows you to extend your strap as needed. And then when you're ready to tighten it around your cargo, you drop that lever back down and you use this hand knob right here to get it tight. And then you take your tool, you place it in there and that's gonna allow you to apply more tension and finish the tightening process. Once you're done, the tool can actually be stowed right here so it's out of the way but it's still always there. So you don't misplace it or lose it.

It's there when you need it.Now once the strap is around your cargo, it actually connects back to itself so it has the connection points right there. One on either side of the unit. So the strap goes around your cargo and connects back to itself using the bracket as its own anchor point. Now this system features a safe working load limit of 500 pounds and that's per strap. Each strap measures 7' long by an 1-1/2" wide.
