Hi, everyone. Aiden here with the etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Pro Series Sidewind Jack Crank Assembly. So this is going to be a replacement handle for your jack. We've got ours in the center of our trailer right now and we can install this as a replacement handle to be able to operate that jack. Let's check it out.
So I'm just gonna unthread that nut and washer, take out the bolt from the other side and just feed it through our handle right here and reinstall that and get it tightened down. We don't need to crank on it too much, just enough so that we still have some movement here. (wrench grinds) So with this snug in place, we can still move this handle around. It is a little bit tight, but that will allow us to push it into place and operate the jack as we normally would to either lower or lift the trailer. And then whenever it's done, we can slide it back and our trailer actually has a hook in place.
You can just hang it up nice and out of the way. It's got a 13 and a half inch turning radius, a painted finish on there to help it resist rust and corrosion and the handle does rotate. So as we're turning the handle, then we don't have to worry about constantly readjusting our grip here. So operation overall is quite smooth and pretty easy to do. Fits and works just like the original
I bought a trailer with a Bulldog (180) square center jack that was missing the handle. Took a chance on this product as it wasn't specifically for my application but all the dimensions matched.
