Will Bulldog Landing Gear Set Replace Lippert Set on 2019 Open Range 335MBH
Question:
I have what looks like Lippert standard landing gear on my open range. Its whatever came with my unit. I purchased it new. One of the legs is bent. Can I keep the electric motor and just replace both legs with like a bulldog system? the tabs are 16 1/2 inches apart on the legs. Thanks!

The Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set # BD500162 will fit directly with your Lippert motor and when I reached out to Bulldog to confirm this he said that they designed their landing gear to be used that way. I do recommend picking up the Manual Override Crank # BD500203 while you're at it just to have on hand in case of a power failure.
In regards to the mounting tab I believe when you say yours are 16-1/2" apart you are measuring to the centers of the tabs? The Bulldog set has tabs that are 15-1/2" apart or 17-1/2" apart depending on if you're measuring from the inside or outside of the tabs. So this landing gear set should fit directly in place of your Lippert set without having to weld new brackets in place.
Should you have a unique system with tabs being 16-1/2" apart then the Bulldog does come with new brackets you can use for the install. It would be worth going ahead and doing this anyways as the 16-1/2" measurement is something I've never heard of before so you'd be hard-pressed to find a landing gear set that matches directly.
