Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Blue Ox six wire coiled electrical cord. This is a six wire extension cord that can be used for multiple towing applications, but most commonly, it is gonna be used for running power from your RV to your towed vehicle. This does include two six-way round female plugs that will mount onto your RV and your towed vehicle for a quick, easy hookup. You can see these do have these spring-closed lids that are gonna help protect your connections when you're not hooked up. And then when you do plug this in, it's going to have a locking feature on it.
So as you lower this lid, it's going to lock onto that cable, so it's gonna help prevent accidental disconnects. And so you'll lift that up, and then pull out the cable to disconnect. This cable is a coiled design, so it is going to keep your cable up off the ground, prevent it from dragging and tangling, but when you need the overall length, it will stretch out to over seven feet in length, and so it is going do a good job of providing that connection for you, even if you're taking turns and that sort of thing, it's going to move, stay up off the ground, but still give you that length that you need. This does have silicone-encased wire connections that are going to help prevent any corrosion, so it is gonna hold up well for you and last you a nice long time. And it is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US.

I used it towing my Chevy it has enough wires for lights and extra for power for electric brakes
The products arrived very promptly. So far I am quite pleased. I installed the Blue Ox base plate on my 2012 Wrangler yesterday afternoon. Complete installation took about 3 hours and worked exactly as it should have. Mechanical experience and a good set of tools are very helpful.
Only the best will do when towing your TOAD. Blue Ox makes the best equipment from tow bar to cables. Highly recommend Blue Ox to Any RV owner.
