I believe what may have happened that you may have used the incorrect violet & purple wire when installing the Custom Third Brake Light Camera for 8" Factory Monitor # 3460010 on your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.
There should be two violet & purple wires located in the control module inside your fuse box. You're going to want to ensure that you are using the larger of the two wires.
The smaller gauge wire isn't going to be large enough to properly power the camera.
Additionally, there is a fuse for your accessory power that you can check as well (highlighted, attached below). This should be a micro fuse, in the number 31 spot.
You can use a circuit tester # PTW2993 to check for 12v at the fuse. If you're not getting 12V you need to check your wiring and make sure that your wires are going to the right place, and you have a good ground.
Attached is also an installation video on a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 for you to check out as well.
