Rear Assist Lines
The rear assist lines generated by the system's camera make connecting your fifth wheel camper or gooseneck trailer a one-person job. The lines appear on your 8" factory monitor and show the distance from other objects, allowing you to accurately line up your connection point when hooking up your camper or trailer.
0 Lux Night Vision
0 Lux night vision produces a quality picture and gives you the flexibility you need when hooking up your camper or trailer. You can line up your connection point in low-light conditions at dusk, or in complete darkness at night without the aid of IR transmitters.
Switch Kit
The switch kit adds a new dimension to your current setup, allowing you to toggle between views from your truck bed camera and factory backup camera with the flip of a switch. The integrated flip switch can be mounted inside of your truck to give you a clean OEM look and easy access.
Simple Installation
Simply unscrew and unplug your factory third brake light. Once removed, set your new custom bezel with camera in place. Feed the 6' camera wire through the opening into your truck and re-install your factory third brake light in front of the custom bezel.
Connect your 6' camera wire to the 18' wiring harness. This combined 24' wire will extend through your head liner or door sill panel along the edge of the floor, up to the front of your truck, and connect with the included ground and power wiring harness. The power wire will run to your truck's battery.
The switch kit installs by connecting one end of the included T-harness into the factory plug behind your radio, and the other end into the back of your radio. The integrated power wire for the flip switch will run to 12V accessory power.

The camera works great. Most difficult thing was running all the wires. There was plenty of wiring available to reach where I needed to go. It was nice having it plug into the factory harness then just needed to provide power to the camera.
Only reason why it didnt get five stars is the fitment of the mount. Ive attached pictures. I had to get the mount between the glass and the window framing. When I did that the screws were a touch short. Had to force to get the screws started. If I put the mount so it was on top of the glass then the mount didnt sit flush on the body and look as nice. Thought about shaving the bottom of the mount some to get a better fit.
Second thing was the wrong harness was sent with the camera. Dealing with etrailer to get the harness took a little more effort that was needed. Eventually the correct harness so sent.

The product worked as it should. THe switch was very cheaply made and had to replace it before the unit would work. Gace it a 3 stars due to the switch.

Installation was not difficult, all but extra power wire, butt splices and ring terminal was supplied. The fit of the camera bezel to the cab is not tight. This may not be an issue as the gasket should make the seal but I imagined that the bezel would be cut to match the cab contours. The adjustment of the camera is limited by the angle of the camera mount. Could be lessened so all of the box can be viewed. With the camera adjusted as far down as it can be on a long box truck, it is adequate for seeing the ball but I'm not sure what the viewing angle would be on a short box truck. Unit has good picture and works as advertised.

2018 GMC Sierra 2500
I placed the order and received my product within three days.
The product is as described and works great! I needed a camera to hookup my 5th wheel trailer and it works as advertised. No more getting in and out of my truck several times trying to line the hitch up correctly. Once and done!

Camera works great, dramatically improved my ability to hookup my fifth-wheel, no more jumping in and out of truck to confirm alignment of pin box and hitch. Only con is bezel does not exactly match contour of cab body, small gaps on both sides allow water to intrude. I’ve since sealed it with silicone, not a real clean finish.

I like this camera. It does not get as dirty as the factory tail gate camera. The view is OK. The installation instructions are terrible. You need to watch the video on etrailer if you want a chance to get it right. I do have an issue with the camera when the weather is cold. -18 degrees Celsius or colder (in northern Canada it is cold a lot). All I get is static and no picture. Any warmer and it works fine. Now I am not sure if this is a product issue, a vehicle issue or an installation issue. And no one has been able to give me any insight on this issue. But for the most part I do like the camera

Camera for the 7” system was sent. Box clearly marked 7”. Your shipping department is really bad. Second issue I’ve had. Your company used to be very good but rethinking placing any more orders.

Installation was quick and easy. I have a 2016 GMC Denali 2500HD with an eight inch monitor. When you watch the video on your sight for the 2016 GM models shows the connection point behind the radio and in fact the connection is behind the glove box. The video link from this product number show a 2018 GM model which worked for my 2016, so I was able to get it connected. The other thing I notice was in the 2016 video you said to connect the acc wire (violet and yellow) but my truck had the violet and purple wire. The video showed the violet and purple wire. The 2018 showed the opposite. Not show stoppers but I had to review both videos to complete the installation. It works great I can now see my fifth wheel plate and not the ground.

The kit came with everything I needed to install in my 2015 Chevy Silverado HD. The YouTube video was easy to follow and I got it installed in a couple hours, and I'm not a grease monkey!
This was a great upgrade to my truck! Great for when I'm hauling a load, but even better for when I'm hooking up the 5th wheel!

For the money, I’m very disappointed. The fit of the housing is poor, Concerned it may leak. The wires adapters are pathetic, so many different bundles and adapters. My biggest complaint is now my normal back up camera is not as clear. It’s acting like has interface , I checked over the numerous connections and they’re secure. Very disappointed. Only reason for two stars is etrailers information, customer service and website. Product-zero stars..

I very much like this product. One of the posted instructions video was OK, but the second one was excellence. Installation went well thanks to the videos. Written instructions were not that good. My wife likes the fact when the tailgate is down, we still have a backup camera. While I have not use the camera to connect my 5th to the hitch, It looks like it is going to very help.

2019 GMC Sierra 2500
What a great product for hooking up to fifth wheels , camera is clear and precise. Grid lines work well and are visible . Installation was easy , just watch the videos and read the directions they give and u will have no trouble . Total install time about an hour . Cant wait to use it and will surely save headache getting out to see how you are lined up . Would definitely recommend to anyone who has trouble seeing out back window.

For the price expected better picture Quality but it does seem to focus well enough the bed of the truck which is where it is needed. Installation was not bad. I am not a mechanic and it took me about five hours & one tech call. Strongly suggest you learn how to remove knee bolster under stirring wheel & fuse cover on side of dash before you start. They were both stinkers to get off. Overall satisfied with product so far and with the service on my tech call.

The camera works excellent but the fit and finish against the truck body is terrible. Installation was pretty straight forward. Gap left after installing I filled with RTV.

It fit well. Super easy to install. Does what it should do. Only criticism is the camera is rather low resolution, makes seeing detail impossible. Should have a better camera.

Camera still works and the resolution is of corse still low. The black colour of the camera has faded away and the camera is now chrome. Still does the job but missed the mark on some quality issues.

I reached out to the manufacturer regarding your issue with the camera and his reply was that the temperature tolerance is 0c to 60c for this product, so -18 c would be well outside of the devices range. Most automobile cameras have this same specification. There are some heated cameras on the market but they would not fit within this assembly.
