Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For Carrying a Bike Rack With a 2013 Subaru BRZ
Question:
I want to install a receiver hitch on my 2013 BRZ. Between the Draw Tite and and Curt and only expect to use it for a bike rack. Is either one ok for this purpose without Support Straps?

Since the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11379 does require Stabilizing Straps # 18050 you will want to use the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24935. This is a class I receiver that will give you a 1-1/4 in receiver on your 2013 Subaru BRZ.
The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack # SH12B is one of our easiest bike racks to use. Its lightweight aluminum construction allows you to carry 2 bikes up to 40lbs each and only weighs 32lbs itself.
You may need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118269 to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if your bikes impair the view of your tail lights on your BRZ.
