Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2015 Subaru BRZ

We have a Subaru BRZ, 2015. Thinking of getting the Curt c11379 hitch and the Swagman xtc2 platform rack. Will we be able to open the trunk with the rack on? Is there enough clearance in the back?

The Curt hitch part # C11379 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2015 Subaru BRZ so it would work well for you.

I looked up pictures of your vehicle and the trunk looks like it opens basically straight up so it would not interfere with a bike rack like the Swagman XTC part # S64670 so it should work well for you.

Curt requires the use of their stabilizer strap part # 18050 when using their hitch to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack. I attached a review video for you to check for the strap as well.

I do have an option for you, however the Curt Trailer HItch Receiver #C11375 that you referenced is designed for the 2014-2016 Scion tC and will not fit your 2015 Subaru BRZ. For your Subaru I instead recommend the Curt Class I Round Tube Receiver…

For your 2013 Scion FR-S I would recommend the Draw Tite part #24935 over the Curt hitch #C11379 as only the hitch opening hangs below the rear bumper which gives you a more hidden look while also helping with ground clearance.
