Can Power Lift Feature Be Added to Maxx Air Trailer Roof Vent Fan

hello I have a max air fan from factory in my 377 rlbh. it has a switch on the wall to turn it on and off. do you have a motor that will lift the door when the fan is turned on and door closes when fan is off ? I know we are going to forget to close the door and its going to rain one day. i know i can get a hood for it but would bed nice to just hit the switch and it open the vent door. also please include the hood part number if we decide to go that way as well..

I do have an option for you but you can't upgrade your existing vent fan for power lift but there are vent fans with this feature like the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent part # MA00-07500K for black or part # MA00-07000K for white which is what I recommend. This unit has power lid lift, a wireless remote for operation, and a rain shield so you can actually use the vent while it's raining. It fits the same size opening you have now so the swap really won't be that bad. I'd just pick up the Roof Vent Installation Kit part # 344270KITW as well.

If you just want to add a cover over your existing then the MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover part # MA86JR will be a good option for this.

The MAXX AIR II Vent Cover #MA86JR also listed as part number 00933082 that you referenced does not come with a bug screen built into it nor is there one available for it.
