Solution for Squeaky/Noisy Trailer Suspension with Equa-Flex Equalizers
Question:
I plan on ordering item LC279688 and item LC281285. The equal flex comes with brass bushing. I would want to replace them with the never fail bushing. Do you know if the brass bushing has to be pushed out with a special tool? Thanks for your quick response.

The squeaking noise on your trailer is probably coming from the joints in the suspension creating metal to metal friction.
So, unless your original Equa-Flex Cusioned Equalizers are damaged or corroded, what will make the biggest difference is to upgrade the existing bronze bushings (which are known for being durable but also noisy) and hardware with the Never Fail Tandem Axle Suspension Upgrade Hardware Kit for Double Eye Springs # LC281285.
The Never Fail bushings in this kit are self-lubricating which is what will help eliminate the annoying squeaking without the need to re-apply grease constantly. The best part is that they are backed by a lifetime warranty.
The kit also includes 14 suspension bolts since it's not recommended to use wet bolts AND Never Fail bushings together. Zinc shackle straps and hex nuts are included as well to upgrade all the suspension mounting hardware on your trailer.
I have attached a snip of a customer review that had a similar issue with their trailer and found the perfect solution with this kit.
