Comparing MaxxAir II and Fan-Tastic Vent Ultra Breeze Vent Covers

Question:

Im torn between the ultra Breeze vent cover and the maxxair II vent cover for the purpose of storing my RV travel trailer. Want my trailer to be able to expel some of the heat here in Houston while in storage but concerned about any rain getting in when weather gets bad. And with the ultra Breeze cover it sounds like you can open your vent more with that versus the Maxx Air 2. Does it really matter how much you can actually open it up long as theres some air getting out?

Helpful Expert Reply:

The MaxxAir II RV and Enclosed Trailer Roof Vent Cover # MA86JR and the Fan-Tastic Vent Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover # DMC38FR have very similar dimensions so I doubt anyone would be able to notice any difference in actual ventilation performance from the 1-inch height difference between them.

Since the USA-made MaxxAir # MA86JR is both lower in price and has twice as long a warranty (6 years vs. 3 years) I would go with the MaxxAir.

which one is more durable especially with regard to UV rays as I live in Phoenix AZ and my trailer gets daily full sun.

The MaxxAir # MA00-933075 is definitely the way to go here.
