Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 2021 Subaru Forester To Work With Thule Hitching Post 4 Bike Carrier

Hi, I am looking for a hitch receiver that will fit a Forester 2021. I have the Thule Hitching Post Pro Item # TH934XTR 2 inch left over from my previous car. Id like to find a receiver that will fit it. Would be grateful for your recommendation. We will be using the hitch for carrying bikes 1 kids bike, 3 adult Thanks

I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76271 for your 2021 Subaru Forester. This is one of the easier receivers to install as it does not require you to remove the rear bumper cover to install. It has a maximum rating or 525lbs tongue weight and 3,500 towing, (be sure to consult your Subaru dealer to determine what the maximum weight ratings are for your specific vehicle) which will be plenty for your Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. I have linked an installation video below for you to determine if this is something that you would prefer to install or take to an installer.
The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143865 will attach to your factory wiring giving you a 4-way flat connector. With this connector you will be able to tow small trailers as well as use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if your bikes cause to much interference with the taillights on your Forester. The Mounting Brackets # 18144 and # 18140 will allow you to secure the 4-way to the receiver without drilling.
