Concealed Trailer Hitch Fit For 2010 Subaru Outback For Towing Trailer
Question:
Hi , I have a 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6R with dual exhaust, Its not a sport model. Currently it has a small factory hitch, but Im looking to get a concealed 2 inch hitch for it. I need it to tow either a 5x8 or 6x12 U-Haul enclosed trailer. Which hitch would work best for my vehicle? Thanks!

You'll want to ensure your current factory hitch can be removed (it should be bolted on and not welded), and if so, there is a trailer hitch receiver with a concealed crosstube that does fit your 2010 Subaru Outback, which is from Curt. Since you mentioned you'll be towing, you'll also need a 4-flat trailer wiring harness, so I'll go ahead and list out both parts for you:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13410
- Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143865
You can mount this harness to the fascia under your Outback with a mounting bracket, the Hopkins Fold-Over Mounting Bracket for 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM48595.
