Hitch Equipment For 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

Question:

Looks like you have several 2inch receivers for this vehicle. My hope is to tow some small boat trails total weight about 1,200 lbs. Do you see any issues with this?

It looks like your towing capacity is around 3600 pounds, although you should consult your vehicle's documentation for exact capacity. A 1200 pound boat and trailer should not be a problem. For your hybrid the etrailer e98903 would be a good choice for a Class-3 hitch with 2" receiver. I have attached a link to this product and an installation video on a 2020 Pacifica. I think the matte black finish hides the hitch better and will inhibit rust longer.

You will also need a ball mount and hitch ball to get hitched. If you let me know what size ball the coupler on your trailer needs, I can recommend one. Probably a Curt # C45131 ball mount for 2" receiver that comes with a 1-7/8" hitch ball. To make sure that your hitch does not disappear, you may want to add an etrailer E98882 hitch lock. Also a little Reese # 58117 hitch ball lube keeps things going smooth and quiet, and then a hitch ball cover # FA82-00-3220 keeps you out of the grease and your equipment looking nice.

Finally, if your Pacifica did not come with a hitch, then it unlikely has the 4-pole electrical connector for your trailer lights. These kits are made custom to your specific vehicle. For Touring model you need # 118723, for LX # 118723, for Limited, Touring-L, and Touring-L-Plus # C56322. I have included links below to all of these products and a install video on a 2020 Pacifica. Each of these kits come with the module box included which isolates your vehicle from the trailer wiring which is important protection for your vehicle.
