It cost us only $100 to have our regular mechanic mount the receiver on our Chrysler Pacifica van, even though the van isn't rated for towing. The receiver works perfectly with the Thule e-bike hitch rack we also bought from etrailer.
The product was exactly as described. It seems to be of very high quality and still looks great. This is probably the 5th hitch I have purchased from this site and all have been excellent
Following the video made it look easy but it only showed instructions on drivers side. When it came to the passenger side, that was time consuming and bruising. Now I know why the video didn’t include that side. But, I did get it put on with vehicle on the ground in 4 -1/2 hours. I’m 80 years old and it was 90 degrees outside. I’m okay. It looks good on vehicle.
The trailer hitch shipped very quick. I was nervous to install it but the instructions were very spot on! They sent an installation guide for our specific vehicle and made it easy to follow. It mounted perfect and is going to work great! Very happy with everything!
A few "mistakes" in the installation manual. About 2.5 hours total install time was needed to install this, which includes making some minor adjustments to the cannister and more trim needed (than what the manual said).
Think this is the fourth hitch we have purchased from you and all four have fit and performed perfectly. Your customer service personnel and prompt actions have been great. Thank you. The latest for our new Pacifica was more difficult due to the panels covering the bottom of the vehicle however your videos helped in that.
The hitch itself is five star. However, two issues came up during install that made things difficult.
First, the hitch kit did not include hardware to relocate the carbon canister box on the driver side of the hitch. The hitch could not be installed without moving this box. A longer bolt was provided, but this did not make the carbon box secure. I was able to partially thread the longer bolt on the front of the box, but there was no room to secure the rear of the box at all. My van is a 2021 model, so maybe this issue is different for other model years.
Second, the 0.5” x 10” slit to be cut in the underbody panel was not the location described in the included directions. It actually needed to be 0.5” x 14” and about 2” different location than described. The point of reference bolt hole in the diagram was likely in a different spot for my 2021 model compared to the vehicle used for creating directions.
After paying returns shipping for the wrong product. This one fit well and the instructions were easy to follow for installation. Highly recommend the video the company links to the order.
My wife wanted this receiver hitch installed on her Chrysler Pacifica for our bike rack, so we can travel with our bikes. We installed it in a few hours without a lift, but backed up on ramps.
The trailer hitch is great. The diagram for cutting the existing dust cover was very inaccurate. Installation is definitely a two-person job, but not difficult
Installation went well and video directions certainly helped.

Product fit perfectly for my 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. Instructions were a bit difficult to understand but the video provided through your website helped greatly! Hitch receiver worked well with our bike rack for our ebikes.

Quality part, detailed instructions, so-so easy of installation (due to application on the Pacifica). Captured bolts are a pain, but that was only on one side if I remember correctly. I bought the hitch to hold a bike rack and luggage carrier, not for a trailer.
Hitch Worked well last summer, basically never used fall or winter. Hitch still looks nice as opposed to the curt unit on last car that began peeling and surface rusting after one winter (New England, dirt road, salt and other melting agents).
I had reservations about putting a class 3 hitch on,by myself,because of the weight. But with the help with {online}. I was able to do it myself.
Shipping promptly. The installation instructions/video were for gas and weren't exactly for a hybrid but they addressed and made things relatively easy for someone that is handy. Very pleased!!! This is my 3rd hitch I've installed over the years.
Solid and good paint job. Went in with no problems. Followed instructions that came with the hitch and watched the video. Pic is with a bike rack mounted.

Very easy to install, the video support really helped, I recommend Etrailer products. My product was a receiver hitch for a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica.
This install was a not a good time. The flange nuts were not supplied. They were separate nuts and washers which was close to impossible to get threaded on the studs. You can not get two hands into the right spot and then the stud pushes back up into the frame so it was a very frustrating experience. The hitch itself had to be flexed a tiny bit to get it to line up properly. Having to do this and get it lined up with studs that can easily slide back took a while. Wish I would of just had it installed when we bought the car, haven't been that frustrated in a long time with a car.
