Boat Trailer Guides Needed for Triple Axle Boat Trailer

Question:

Good day. I just purchased a used boat and trailer and would like to install guides to help keep the boat aligned prior to pulling out of the water at the ramp. The boat is 28 foot on a tri-axel bunk trailer. The boat finishes very close to the trailer fenders - aprox 2 inch above the fender - which is the length of the 3 axels. Would you have a suggestion for a pair of guides for my trailer? Thanks,

Choosing the correct guides is a little different for each boat/trailer combo but we do have a few options that you can choose from. I recommend going with either the CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-On Kit # CE27600K90 where you supply your own 2x4 boards to fit your application, or the smaller 24" CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons # CE27660 which you could place at the front and back of each fender.

These options fit frames up to 3" wide x 4-1/4" tall but it looks like you have a rather tall trailer frame so you might want to check out the Extra-Long U-Bolt Kit # CE11416 which fits trailer frames up to 3" wide x 5-1/4" tall. Anything taller than this and you'll need to supply the proper U-Bolts on your end of things.

I've also attached a link to our selection of guide ons that you can check out.
